Three men will serve life in prison for the 2018 murder of rapper XXXTentacion, whose real name is Jahseh Onfroy. Last week, a Florida judge sentenced Michael Boatwright, Dedrick Williams, and Trayvon Newsome to life for shooting down the 20-year-old rapper outside Riva Motorsports. A fourth participant in the crime, Robert Allen, who said he was only involved in the robbery of XXXTentacion, took a plea deal and was found guilty of second-degree murder but has not been sentenced yet.
The four men reportedly followed Jahseh from where he withdrew cash before arriving at the dealership. Then after he left, they robbed the music artist of his designer bag, which contained $50,000. Michael Boatwright was reportedly the shooter and shot the unarmed Jahseh several times. A relative who was in the vehicle with him was able to escape safely.
Thankfully, the rising star left behind a son. XXX's girlfriend, Jenesis Sanchez, announced her pregnancy shortly after his death and gave birth to their son, Gekyume Onfroy, in January 2019.
