Leonid Radvinsky, the owner of OnlyFans, an adult entertainment site, has died of cancer at the age of 43, according to multiple media reports.
OnlyFans released a statement regarding his death: “We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Leo Radvinsky. Leo passed away peacefully after a long battle with cancer. His family has requested privacy during this difficult time.”
According to The Guardian, “Radvinsky, a Ukrainian-American billionaire with a net worth of about $3.8bn as of May 2025, acquired Fenix International Limited, OnlyFans’ parent company, in 2018. He served as the company’s director and majority shareholder. Born in Odesa, he grew up in Chicago and studied economics at Northwestern University. According to the Wall Street Journal, he began running pornography sites as a teenager.” The Guardian also noted, “In recent months, Radvinsky had engaged in talks to sell a 60% stake in OnlyFans in a sale that would have valued the company at about $8bn. According to OF, Radvinsky had moved his ownership to a trust in 2024.”
OF is a subscription-based platform that allows content creators to retain 80% of their revenue, which is significantly more than what most adult platforms offer.
Following his passing, some creators on the site expressed their gratitude to him for providing them the opportunity to keep the majority of the revenue they generated.
