Nia Long has reportedly filed for a restraining order against a woman who has been stalking her for two years. According to TMZ, Long informed the courts that a woman named Carrie McDonald, has been been to her home in Los Angeles more than once, with the impression that they are in a romantic relationship.
In 2024, McDonald allegedly came to Long's residence, prompting a police warning. Reports indicate that she was arrested after returning to Long's home.
The actress claims that she does not know McDonald, who has sent her unwanted cards, flowers, and gifts. McDonald has also shown up at Long's house in the middle of the night, demanding that she open the door.
According to Hollywood Unlocked, Long filed for a restraining order for herself, her children, and her mother. However, a judge reportedly denied the temporary restraining order at this stage. The court has scheduled a hearing for April to further review the situation.
As of now, Long has not made any comments regarding the matter.
