Syracuse Police Under Fire for a Viral Video of the Arrest of An 8 Year Old Child

The Syracuse, New York police are under fire for using excessive force with an eight-year-old child for allegedly stealing a bag of chips.

In a video that went viral, onlookers argued with the police for snatching the child off his bike and placing him in the back of a police unit, all while the boy cried hysterically.

The locals who watched the ordeal offered to pay for the item and scathed the police for how aggressively they handled the child.
