The Rapper Bun B is exciting Houston foodies with his delicious Trill burger! The Good Morning America show visited the rapper and presented him with a $10,000 check for winning its United States of Burger competition!
Bun B has been doing pop-ups in his food truck throughout the city of Houston. Yet, Houston locals aren't the only ones endorsing his food as some of the best burgers; many of his fellow entertainers deem his meals to be some of the best sandwiches. Fat Joe, Jadakiss, Soulja Boy, Black Thought, and many others share their happiness about the "Trill Burger" experience via @trillburger Instagram.
Bun B, whose legal name is Bernard Freeman, is a Texas lyricist who started rapping in the group UGK (Underground Kingz) in the late '80s with his group member Pimp C. After the death of Pimp C, he became a solo act and pursued other ventures. He eventually joined the faculty at Rice University-lecturing and teaching courses on hip hop and religion. Bernard also released a coloring book with author Shea Serrano called Bun B's Rap Coloring Book.
Congrats to Bun B on all the success; as the saying goes, the sky is the limit!
