50 Cent has filed a lawsuit against Tia Kemp, an Internet personality and the mother of Rick Ross’ son, William Roberts III.
50 Cent, who is notorious for his online trolling of other celebrities, recently got involved in an incident where Ross and Kemp’s 21-year-old son was allegedly pistol-whipped outside his school, Bethune-Cookman University, in Florida on Oct. 11.
Shortly following the incident, 50 Cent allegedly bailed out the alleged attacker of Kemp and Ross’ son, Don Roberts, and posted about it on social media. Fifty, who had no previous relationship with the alleged attacker, shared a video of Don speaking about the incident on Instagram, where he thanked 50 Cent, stating, “I appreciate everyone who believed in me, my family and my friends. I’m out, and I’m innocent. The Lord know I’m innocent,” said Don. “50 [Cent], I appreciate you for everything you’re doing for me and believing in my innocence, much love.”
Fifty further posted about his support for the 20-year-old. He also said he would retain the same lawyer for Don (Drew Findling), who recently and successfully represented Lil Durk in his murder-for-hire trial in California.

Kemp, who once partnered with 50 Cent during a longstanding feud he had with her son's father, has expressed her displeasure with the alliance Fifty recently formed with the man who allegedly assaulted her son. She said the New York rapper was “promoting violence” and found his involvement with the situation to be disrespectful.
Kemp, a Miami, Florida native, has shared several videos where she’s retaliated against 50 Cent and has made caustic remarks about his 14-year-old son, as well as his son’s mother, Daphne Joy, who was alleged to be a sex worker and romantically linked to Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs during his recent sex trafficking trial in 2025.

Since Kemp’s online heckling of Fifty’s son, the Queen’s rapper has reportedly sued Kemp for $6 million. The entertainment mogul said Kemp is deliberately using his minor son “as a prop and a punchline.” According to Complex, which obtained a copy of the lawsuit, part of the suit reproaches the Miami content creator for insinuating that the rapper’s teen son is “slow” and autistic. The suit states, “Ms. Kemp shamelessly used the label ‘on the spectrum’ as a pejorative slur hurled at a child to humiliate him and his family.” 50 Cent shared on Instagram, “It’s not ok to bully minors online; kids have killed themselves over things people have said about them.”
