Jason David Frank, who starred in the hit ‘90s show, Power Rangers, has died at 49. His cause of death is reportedly suicide. Jason allegedly killed himself after a heated argument with his wife while they stayed at a Texas hotel. Supposedly the couple had a pending divorce and therefore had separate rooms. According to TMZ, hotel management opened his room and discovered that he had hanged himself in the bathroom after his wife said she could no longer contact him.
The actor played the green and white Power Ranger during the popular series and acted in the Power Ranger movies as well. He’s the second character from the franchise to pass away; Thuy Trang, who played the original yellow Power Ranger, was killed in a car accident. Jason was a seasoned martial artist; he practiced different martial art forms throughout the years.
He is remembered as a doting father and friend who adored his fans. We send our condolences to his loved ones.
