Nancy Pelosi's husband, Paul Pelosi, is recovering from a skull fracture after reportedly being attacked by David Depape with a hammer in his San Francisco home. (Depape is pictured below)

Although his motives for attacking Paul are unclear, authorities say he demanded to speak with Nancy upon the attack. Depape is charged with attempted murder, assault with a deadly weapon, burglary, elder abuse, and threatening a public official.

Pelosi, 82, is hospitalized and recovering from injuries to his hand and arm in addition to head injuries.

Stay tuned for later updates.
