Ludacris' Manager Charged with Murder After Acting in Self-Defense at His Atlanta Restaurant in June

Ludacris' long-time manager Chaka Zulu is being charged with murder after he reportedly acted in self-defense and killed a person while being attacked by four people at his restaurant APT 4B in the Atlanta area in June.

Chaka's real name is Ahmed Obefemi. He was reportedly attacked in his restaurant parking lot after refusing service to patrons who wanted to dine there. He, therefore, fired his gun and killed one of his attackers. However, Chaka was shot in his back during the assault and is recovering from his injuries. A second attacker was injured as well, but he survived.

Obefemi has successfully managed Ludacris' career for several years, and together, they formed Disturbing Tha Peace Records. Obefemi is a well-respected record producer and entrepreneur in Atlanta. He's also worked as the Head of Artist and Talent for the Spotify streaming platform.

Several Atlanta community members and music industry contacts support Obefemi and consider him a law-abiding citizen. Authorities confirmed that he is licensed to carry his firearm. His attorney, Gabe Banks, released the following statement regarding the case:
