Congresswoman Jasmine Crockett's former bodyguard was shot and killed by the Dallas police on Friday. Multiple media outlets have reported that her bodyguard used the alias Mike King. According to PEOPLE, authorities intercepted him in the parking lot of the Children's Health Hospital because he was wanted for impersonating an officer.
Reports indicate that law enforcement officials followed him into the hospital's parking lot after he barricaded himself inside a vehicle. The Dallas SWAT team allegedly used tear gas to remove him from the vehicle. When he exited the vehicle while reportedly pointing a gun at the officers, he was shot and killed.

Fox News said the former security guard's legal name was Diamon‑Mazairre Robinson. He allegedly operated multiple security businesses and oversaw security teams at various Dallas hotels and his church, in addition to working for Crockett.
Fox also reported that during an investigation into Robinson’s criminal history, CBS discovered he was arrested seven times for theft in Dallas and the surrounding areas between 2009 and 2012, before he started using an alias.
Crockett has not yet made a statement regarding the matter.
