Comedian Rickey Smiley Mourns the Death of His Oldest Son, Brandon Smiley

Comedian Rickey Smiley mourns the death of his oldest son, Brandon Smiley. He announced his 32-year-old son's death via a social media video stating, "I want everybody to pray for me, pray for our family. My son Brandon Smiley has passed away this morning. I'm about to go get on a flight and try to get to Birmingham; Lord have mercy, Jesus."

There are no details about Brandon's cause of death, but the authorities have ruled out foul play. Brandon was following in his father's footsteps as a comedian. His friend reportedly found him dead in his Birmingham home on Sunday morning.

The veteran comedian is receiving so much love from fans and his entertainment community in support of his loss.
