Bone Thugs-N-Harmony was honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on Wednesday. The Cleveland, Ohio rap group emerged in the music industry during the 1990s as protégés of the late rapper and producer Eazy-E.
The group includes Krayzie Bone (Anthony Henderson), Layzie Bone (Steven Howse), Bizzy Bone (Bryon Anthony McCane II), Wish Bone (Charles C. Scruggs Jr.), and Flesh-n-Bone (Stanley Howse).
Among their many accolades, the group has received an American Music Award and a Grammy for Best Rap Performance by a Duo or Group for their hit song “Tha Crossroads” in 1997, which addresses spiritual transition after death.
Bone has sold more than 60 million records worldwide. The '90s hip-hop group boasts a plethora of hits, including "Thuggish Ruggish Bone", "Tha Crossroads," "1st of Tha Month," "Thug Luv (feat. 2Pac)," "Look Into My Eyes," which was featured on the Batman & Robin soundtrack, and "Foe tha Love of $", which featured Eazy-E.

Bone is one of the few rap acts known for harmonizing melodies and fast rapping, giving them a distinctive sound in the hip-hop community. Their music often encompasses occult themes, sometimes referencing their use of a Ouija board. For example, their song “Mr. Ouija” asks the Ouija board about their future. The Ouija board is referenced several times in their music.
Over the years, the group has kept Eazy-E's memory alive. He passed away from AIDS-related complications shortly after signing the group in 1995. The members frequently credit the late rapper for being their ticket into the entertainment industry and a new life.

At the ceremony, group member Stanley Howse expressed, “From the trenches to the stars, we've been through it all, through the fire and the rain.” He continued, “We came from a place where opportunities were way too limited, so to be here standing with my brothers is something that I don't take for granted. All we wanted to do was share a particular sound to inspire the world, and I thank God for giving us another chance to celebrate together."
