Barack Obama Has An Emmy & Two Oscars!

The former president, Barack Obama, now has an Emmy plus two Grammys. He won an Emmy this year in The Best Narrator category for the Netflix documentary Our Great National Parks. The former POTUS won a Grammy for his audio versions of his books The Audacity of Hope and A Promised Land.

Barack and Michelle's production company released the Emmy winning project via Netflix and their production company Higher Ground. Higher Ground has also produced the films American Factory and Michelle's documentary Becoming and The Michelle Obama Podcast.

The former first lady also celebrated a Grammy win in 2020 for The Best Spoken Word Album for Becoming. The Obamas reportedly have other media projects in the works, as they have a partnership with Netflix.
