A search is underway for Lil Jon's son, DJ Young Slade, who is missing in Georgia

Media outlets report that Nathan Smith, 27, the son of rapper Lil Jon, who is known as DJ Young Slade, has gone missing. He was last seen on Tuesday morning near Baldwin Drive and Mayfield Road in Milton, Georgia, which is close to Atlanta.

According to a police bulletin cited by NBC, Nathan "ran out of his house and has been missing since." He reportedly left on foot and does not have a cellphone with him.

Nathan is described as 5 feet 9 inches tall, weighing approximately 150 pounds, with short black hair and brown eyes. Local authorities are concerned that he may need assistance.

In a press release to CBS News Atlanta, Lil Jon's publicist stated that the family is "asking for privacy" while the search continues and has also requested continued prayers for Nathan's safe return.
