Offset, a rapper from the group Migos, was shot near the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Hollywood, FL, shortly after 7:00 PM, according to a report by TMZ.
Offset's representative has confirmed that he is "fine" and in stable condition. The rapper is currently receiving medical care at a hospital.
TMZ also reported that the Seminole County Police issued the following statement: "We are aware of an incident that occurred at a valet area after 7 p.m. Monday outside of Seminole Hard Rock Hollywood that resulted in non-life threatening injuries to an individual who was transported to Memorial Regional Hospital in Hollywood." The rep added, "Seminole Police were on site immediately and the situation was contained quickly. Two individuals have been detained by police. The investigation is ongoing. The site is secure, and there is no threat to the public. Operations continue as normal."
The shooting reportedly occurred just moments after Offset was outside the casino, taking pictures and interacting with fans.
This incident comes on the heels of the tragic death of Offset's bandmate, Takeoff, who was killed in 2023 due to gun violence.
