Lizzo Sued by Dancers and Film Director Describes Her as Unkind, Arrogant and Difficult to Work With

Three of Lizzo's former dancers are suing her for sexual harassment and creating a hostile work environment. Arianna Davis, Crystal Williams, and Noelle Rodriguez filed a civil suit in Los Angeles this week.

The lawsuit describes the star as extremely difficult to work with. Daily Mail states, "The plaintiffs made numerous charges, including sexual, religious, and racial harassment, disability, discrimination, assault, and false imprisonment." Daily Mail also stated one dancer alleges that Lizzo tried to force her and other dancers to eat bananas from the vaginas of sex workers and nude performers when they visited the Bananenbar in Amsterdam's red light district while on tour.

While interviewing on the 3FM Gemist show in Amsterdam in 2019 prior to the lawsuit allegations, the songstress spoke to the host about her recent experience in Amsterdam's red light district and her desire to go to a performance where people ate bananas out of vaginas; she told the host, van der Lende "I'm trying to go to the show where you eat the banana out the p***** - which one is that?"

Filmmaker Sophia Nahli Allison, who Lizzo hired to direct her documentary, recently announced via Instagram that she quit the project due to the singer's poor attitude. Sophia stated, "In 2019, I traveled a bit with Lizzo to be the director of her documentary. I walked away after about two weeks," Sophia continued, "I was treated with such disrespect by her. I witnessed how arrogant, self-centered and unkind she is. My spirit said to run as fast as you…can, and I'm so grateful I trusted my gut. I felt gaslit and was deeply hurt, but I've healed. This kind of abuse of power happens far too often. Much love and support to the dancers."
