Lil Wayne's "20 Years of Carter Classics" Tour will stop in Des Moines, Iowa in July

Lil Wayne is bringing his "20 Years of Carter Classics" tour to the Casey's Center in Des Moines on July 16. He will be joined by special guests 2 Chainz and The Game. Tickets will go on sale at 10 a.m. on Friday, March 20, at Hy-VeeTix.com.
The Game will also be celebrating the 20th anniversary of his debut album, The Documentary.

2 Chainz released his last album, Welcome 2 Collegegrove in 2023, which was a collaboration with Lil Wayne.

Lil Wayne released his first Carter album in 2005, followed by five more albums. The most recent, Carter IV, was released in 2025.
His rap career began as a teenager in New Orleans under the guidance of Birdman at Cash Money Records. In 1997, he joined the rap group Hot Boys along with Juvenile, Turk, and B.G.

Wayne later founded his own label, Young Money Entertainment, which has signed prominent artists such as Drake, Nicki Minaj, and Tyga.
With five Grammy Awards to his name, the New Orleans native has sold over 25 million albums worldwide.
