Amber Snow was arrested for lacing food with an opioid in an attempt to cause a miscarriage. According to KCRG, “A pregnant woman’s fetus survived after a Decorah woman allegedly delivered a lasagna laced with oxycodone intended to cause a miscarriage," according to the Winneshiek County Sheriff’s Office.

The sheriff's office stated that Snow provided the drug-laced lasagna to the family three days after Christmas in an effort to cause a miscarriage.

The Winneshiek County Sheriff’s Office noted that Snow did not act alone and had a co-conspirator. The agency expects to make another arrest soon, according to KCRG.

Snow is currently being held on a $100,000 bond. She faces charges for administering harmful substances, attempting to terminate a human pregnancy without the consent of the pregnant individual, and child endangerment.
