Angel Footman, a middle school teacher in Tallahassee, Florida, at Griffin Middle School, was arrested for organizing and allowing students to fight in her class. She reportedly told the students not to record or yell during the fights so that the building's administrators would not be alerted about the activity.

Among other charges, Angel was reportedly charged with contributing to the delinquency of a minor, and has been fired. According to WZAS TV, some sixth-grade students told authorities they participated in fights in the teacher's classroom and that she allowed them to have 30-second rounds. The school's principals obtained video footage that showed the teacher sitting on her desk during the fights, instructing students not to pull each other's hair, and advising them to fight quietly.

Although there is no record of her reporting the fights to administrators, she allegedly denies her involvement. This story will be updated with additional information.
