Blogger Tasha K requested to make installment payments to Cardi B to settle the debt she owes the "Bodak Yellow" rapper from a defamation lawsuit that Cardi B won against her in 2022. Cardi B sued the up-and-coming YouTube blogger after she made claims that Cardi suffered from herpes, that she had been a prostitute; that she had cheated on her husband; and that she had done hard drugs, according to Billboard. Tasha K had a guest on her show who alleged that she knew Cardi B and claimed she knew for a fact that she suffered from herpes. Tasha's recent bankruptcy filing requested that she pay Cardi $220,000 in quarterly increments until her 3.8 million dollar debt to the "I Like It" rapper is paid in full, according to XXL.
The YouTuber, whose legal name is Latasha Kebe, has issued a public apology to the rapper and Tweeted the following statement about her inability to pay the entertainer: "Look! Sis & Law I Know you need that cause work is slow for all of us right now, but right now, I ain't got it! But let your lawyers know that when I'm up, you gone be up & stuck…You get first dibs after this irs bill gets paid."
However, multiple sources confirmed that a judge made an additional ruling in Cardi's favor regarding the case. Due to a lack of payment, Tasha's assets and property could be levied and confiscated to pay down her debt. The gossip vlogger was met with additional controversy regarding the topics of her shows. Wendy Williams' ex-husband, Kevin Hunter, threatened to sue Tasha for promoting a rumor that he had a gay lover.
