A 69-year-old landlord, Frances Walker, was killed by her tenant, Sandra Kolalou, in Chicago. Frances was allegedly murdered, dismembered, and placed in a freezer in her home after she started the eviction process with 36-year-old Sandra. Frances reportedly had multiple boarders who rented rooms and lived on her property. After other tenants noticed she had been missing, they contacted the local authorities. Kalalou has been charged with first-degree murder and concealing a homicide. She's known to be violent, has had several run-ins with the law, allegedly suffers from mental health issues, and was accused of trying to harm another citizen earlier this year. After that attack, the police supposedly took her into psychiatric care.
The 36-year-old is on a no-bond hold at this time. The defendant has a court appearance later this month and is in custody at Cook County Jail.
