Rapper Waka Flocka announced on social media that ten people assaulted him, alongside a picture of himself with what appeared to be bruises and scrapes on his face. The rapper stated, "Can't believe nobody helped me fight ten n****s off but I'm still standing ten toes marks." The "Round of Applause" rapper followed up with a post that explained his claim was a publicity stunt and fake news. He stated, "Internet be so quick to believe shit without doing any research…too many ppl just proved how easy it is to believe."

Waka posted a message on the X platform stating, "Not a single media outlet that reported on my shit reached out to me or my team to confirm anything," he said. "They ran with a caption as they headline. Imagine a world where facts aint checked and a ig post can steer a string of #news."

The Atlanta rapper also added a "Flocka Facts" comment on Threads. He stated, "Life can be a movie or a reality… all how you look at it.. remember do yo research." "Confirm yo facts… most importantly dont let em manipulate… cuz I just showed yall how easy it is to create a fake narrative outta a picture."

Despite his explanation, we're not sure of Waka's angle; this was a rather odd internet moment and an interesting way for Waka to bring in the new year!
