On New Year's Eve, Megan Thee Stallion opened a Popeyes location in South Beach (Miami).

This exciting business move follows a 2021 partnership Megan had with Popeyes for her Hottie merchandise (unisex graphic t-shirt, pull-over hoodie, tote bag, bandana and a plush toy) and Hottie Sauce, which could be purchased as a condiment or used as a sauce option at Popeyes locations.

The rapper shared a candid video on social media as she welcomed the 'Hot Staff.' Megan told her staff, "This is gonna be the best experience for me...I hope it's gonna be a great experience for y'all! I hope this is a fun job. I hope everyone's having a blast! I just want to lead with love. I want everyone to lead with kindness. I don't like that mean shit!"

The Houston rapper showcased her entire staff, even giving special credit to her "Hot Boy Chefs." She seemed completed elated with the finished product, Meg shared with her staff that the location has come a long way after renovation, she stated, “When we came in here, it was a hole in the ground."

Megan shared her excitement with her online followers, stating, "I’m so excited, so proud, and I feel so much gratitude!" Thee Stallion has always had a strong commitment to giving back. After graduating from Texas Southern University in 2021 with a Bachelor of Science in Health Administration, she launched a mental health therapy platform called "Bad Bitches Have Bad Days Too." In 2023, the music icon established her nonprofit organization, the Pete & Thomas Foundation, which honors her late parents, Joseph Pete III and Holly Thomas. According to its mission statement, the foundation aims to provide resources for women, children, senior citizens, and underserved communities.

“I wear many hats. When I’m in the [recording] booth, I wear that hat. When I’m at Popeyes, I wear this hat.” It's a business move that the Houston native seems extremely proud of. She vows to pop up on the staff to see what they have going on. She boxed up chicken, took orders, and served customers during the grand opening celebration.

In 2021, Popeyes former President, Sami Siddiqui, said Megan will open up to five restaurants under the franchise development agreement she has with the company.
