In her Grammy acceptance speech, Kehlani criticized America's Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) for its presence in the country.

While wearing a gown that said "ICE Out," the Oakland native stated, “I hope everybody’s inspired to join together as a community of artists and speak out against what’s going on, and I’mma leave this and say 'Fuck ICE!"

Kehlani, a former student at Berkeley University won her first Grammy awards for her hit single "Folded," in the categories of Best R&B Song and Best R&B Performance

Bad Bunny who also won his first Grammys on Sunday, took home six awards, including Album of the Year. The Latin star also made statements regarding America's current climate, stating, “Before I say thanks to God, I’m gonna say, ICE out! The "Me Porto Bonito" star continued, “We’re not savage, we’re not animals, we’re not aliens,” he said. “We are humans and we are Americans.”

Billie Eilish was another artist who didn't hold back during her Grammy acceptance speech. The Los Angeles singer, whose home is located on Native American tribal land in California, reminded everyone at the awards that "No one is illegal on stolen land." She added, "It’s really hard to know what to say and what to do right now. I feel really hopeful in this room and I feel like we just need to keep fighting and speaking up and protesting. Our voices really do matter and the people matter.” Before leaving the stage, the multiple Grammy Award winner also declared, "Fuck ICE."

After winning the Grammy for Best Country Duo/Group Performance, Shaboozey took a stand against anti-immigrant ideologies, stating, "Immigrants built this country, so this is for them."
