Beyoncé recently celebrated her 42nd birthday on September 4th while delivering the most successful tour of her career. Hypebeast reports, "Per Chart Data, Bey's current engagement has grossed more than $461 million USD as of writing — surpassing Madonna's 2008 to 2009 Sticky & Sweet Tour, which grossed $411 million USD. Numbers for the RENAISSANCE tour could still increase as the artist still has shows in Inglewood, Vancouver, Seattle, Arlington, Houston, New Orleans and Kansas City until the start of October." Hypebeast also stated, "Forbes estimated that Beyoncé could earn more than $2 billion USD from the tour as per the "optimistic" assumptions of the number of fans buying tickets, the high average ticket price of $700 USD and the artist's "considerable share" of merchandise proceeds."
Some of her recurring dancers, such as the Les Twins, are unsurprisingly a part of the record breaking tour. However, Queen Bey's 11-year-old daughter, Blue Ivy, who is also performing, is reportedly one of the most unique parts of the show. Renaissance is a must-stop for many fellow entertainers: Kelly Rowland, Niecy Nash, Vanessa Bryant, Paul McCartney, Tyler Perry, Kendrick Lamar, Chris Jenner, Oprah Winfrey, Gail King, Ariana Grande, Kim Kardashian, and Selena Gomez are some of the celebrities who have been in attendance. DJ Khaled and Lil Wayne performed at the Inglewood, California show. The legendary singer Diana Ross surprised Beyoncé with a serenade for her birthday at her performance!
Bey Hive members and celebrities are paying homage to the Houston superstar by showing up to performances wearing replicas and renditions of her style choices throughout the years. Take a look!
