'Basketball Wives' Star Brooke Bailey's Daughter Has Died at 25

Brooke Bailey from the Basketball Wives show announced the death of her 25-year-old daughter, Kayla Bailey, via Instagram, along with a photo tribute.

Bailey did not elaborate on how her daughter died, but she stated that she felt God was preparing her for this hardship. "It was God preparing me for this moment in my life. Although, I was not prepared," she added. "I am grateful for the 25 years he Blessed me to have HIS child. To love her, to hold her, to teach her, to comfort her. She was my happiness on earth." After being away from the franchise for several seasons, Brooke recently returned to season 10. During one episode, while discussing how her life has changed over the years, she mentioned that she is now an empty nester and no longer has a child living at home.

Update: WREG, a Memphis, Tennessee news station, reported that Bailey and another person died in a car accident after their vehicle hit the back of a tractor-trailer on a Memphis highway. Kayla was reportedly a hair stylist in Tennessee.
