An arrest has been made in the 31-year-old cold case murder of Angela Renee Buck in Waterloo, Iowa. In August of 1995, it was determined that Angela suffered a fatal gunshot wound to the chest after being discovered by turtle hunters along a creek.
Law enforcement recently arrested 59-year-old Kelly Grant of Bertha, Minnesota, for first-degree murder in 37-year-old Buck's death.
Initial reports from the investigation allegedly placed Buck, Kelly, and another man at a home on Cottage Street, on the night of the murder. People allegedly reported seeing Grant and the second male force the victim to leave the home and into a car after a fight ensued at the home.
Local authorities reportedly interviewed the alleged shooter on different occasions throughout the years, and his stories concerning his whereabouts reportedly changed during each interview. A person who knew Grant allegedly told Waterloo authorities that Grant confessed to killing Buck because she "stole" from him.
