A$AP Rocky pays tribute to his hometown of Harlem in a meaningful way.

To celebrate the release of his upcoming album, Don't Be Dumb, the Harlem native has partnered with Bilt to cover the rent for all tenants living in his former building. Bilt is a financial product and rewards program designed for renters, allowing members to convert their rent payments into valuable rewards while also gaining access to exclusive benefits.

This collaboration is part of the "Rent Free" campaign, which will also promote his self-designed, limited-edition vinyl for the upcoming album.

In a press release, A$AP stated, “For me, it’s always been about your community and neighborhood. Harlem made me who I am, from uptown to downtown, and that connection to place is everything. He continued, When Bilt said they wanted to cover rent for everyone in the same building where I grew up, that hit different. That’s not just business, that’s understanding what community really means."

Rocky stated, “This vinyl is my love letter to New York, and being able to give back to the exact place that raised me while helping people across the country with their rent is the kind of partnership that actually matters.”

According to VIBE, "The exclusive vinyl is available to members through a special pre-order on Bilt’s app and website. A$AP Rocky is also featured in a special edition of its monthly game show, “Rent Free,” where Rocky offers nationwide Bilt Members the chance to win free rent payments of up to $2,500. The top 10 winners will also receive signed editions of the exclusive vinyl, while hundreds of additional members will earn bonus Bilt Points."

Don't Be Dumb is set to be released on Friday, January 16, 2026. This will be Rocky's fourth studio album and his first in nearly eight years.

Last year, he appeared in Spike Lee's film Highest 2 Lowest, alongside Denzel Washington. He shares three children with his partner, Rihanna: RZA, Riot, and Rocki Irish.
